Greetings from the field!

Greetings all,

Our Ukrainian team has been busy over the past three months. Here is an update on their activities that they sent along:

5 field expeditions to the Lviv Opillia region to investigate and document new geological and cultural history sites
Documentation of Pryima Grotto near Lviv using handheld laser scanners to created detailed 3D models
Two new student volunteers joined the project, from geodesy and history
Professor Viktor Alyokhin, a displaced scholar from Donetsk Technical University, joined the project
Connections with youth groups in the Opillia, Carpathian, and Podillia regions to help with the growth of the program

We're also excited to announce that Dr. Ihor Bubniak was awarded a pretigious Fulbright Fellowship and will be completing it at Arizona State University from September through May 2027, working closely with scholars with strong expertise in digital education. It will be an excellent opportunity to build connections and weave together the Greenworks network.
