The greenhouses have been built and we even started growing vegetables in them!
We are thankful to all our donours and sponsors, who enabled Ateliere Fara Frontiere to build the greenhouses. They enable Ateliere Afara Frontiere to envisage 2021 in the best conditions, to ensure the production of eco-certified vegetables that they will be delivered locally to all our clients, and most importantly to keep the employment contract of Bio&Co's beneficiaries.
The contribution of GlobalGiving donours enabled Bio&Co to dedicate its team to the set up of the greenhouses which was key in ensuring well mounted and efficient greenhouses.
An inauguration was carried out in October 2020, respecting all the necessary sanitary conditions, with the presence of Mrs Laurence Auer, Ambassador of the French Republic in Romania, and of Mr Ionut Catalin Nica, General Secretary of the Minister of Agriculture.
