Your contribution to Ateliere Fara Frontiere's social and eco-certified Bio&co farm was tremendous!
It enabled us to move forward and organise our beneficiaries and permanent team to allocate time to follow up the construction of 3 new greenhouses financed with the help of the Saint Gobain Foundation.
The 3 greenhouses were ordered in June, arrived in July and should be all ready to function by August. The first vegetables coming out from the new greenhouses will appear by the end of 2020 ! :-)
This additional production capacity will enable Bio&Co to produce more vegetable, and subsequently to sell to more clients and therefore to recruit more vulnerable persons from the local community. It also means producing more eco-certified vegetables and having more clients who receive their vegetables locally, contributing to a cleaner planet.
