The greenhouse project has been progressing well with the group having implemented a number of activities since the last report. The activities included cultivation on a 3 acre piece of land, purchase of greenhouse tools and materials, green pepper seedlings, construction of the greenhouse,setting up the water tank, tower and drip irrigation system. In a ddition to these activities, a two days training was carried out on disability rights targeting 20 women with disabilities.
Forthcoming activities of the group will include establishment of an open garden, day to day routine and maintainace of the green house, harvesting and marketing of the product. The group also intends to purchase a camera and computer. Initially these were not included in the budget but these items would be of benefit for better project management, small business record keeping and documentation of project activities/results in pictures and video.
