Green Tanzania is a project designed to help youths in primary and secondary schools to learn environmental protection at young age and to formulate environmental clubs at their schools where they will discuss and discover new ideas of protecting environment and to generate the t youths with great passion, pleasure and knowledge on environmental degradation problems the program will cover Tanzania . we aim to to generate $8000 to implement this program.
young people in primary and secondary schools in Tanzania do not have environmental education and awareness on environmental protection. Primary pupils and secondary student have a major role to play in ensuring that they take care of the environment by planting a tree during their primary school life and collecting plastics. Through our GREEN TANZANIA program, we have been able to reach 120 schools, and 90 environmental clubs were formed and 10.5 tons of plastics were collected .
Green Tanzania will give youth in secondary and primary schools a chance to be aware with their environment by making sure that they have the knowledge needed to protect the earth by having the necessary information about environmental conservation and most importantly planting a tree while they were still young and fighting against plastics through collecting via schools environmental clubs team and to put them useless plastic centers.
The project will give the young Tanzanians an opportunity to learn environmental affairs at young age as a result when they finish schools will be good ambassadors of environmental protection and increasing the rate of forest cover in Tanzania,plastic collection and soil conservation This consequently will ensure that we continue to raise our voices as a community for the preservation and protection of our environment.
