The Turkish Education Foundation is an NGO that strives to minimize the inequalities between young people in education. One of the primary purposes of TEV is to designate vulnerable students and financially support their education. In line with this purpose, the Turkish Education Foundation has created a fund named Gratitude Fund For Corona Heroes and supported these children and young people with scholarships, online training, and mentorship programs. As the Foundation works based on scholarship funds, it can establish different campaigns and projects so that different funds can be separated to be used as scholarships for different groups, such as those affected by the pandemic or those affected by the earthquake, etc.
Gratitude Fund for Corora Heroes Scholarship Fund is one those scholarship funds which has a unique objective and target group. The reason of establishing this scholarship fund is to support specifically students affected by the pandemic. Since the pandemic has affected many things adversely, the Foundation have strived to minimize the adverse effects. Many people lost their jobs and it harmed the families. Therefore, it is easy to imagine it negatively affects the education life of students. Especially the students whose families lost their lives during the fight against the virus and those with limited financial means are the most vulnerable groups to suffer from the possible psycho-educational drawbacks of the pandemic. In order to enable young people affected by the pandemic to continue their education, this scholarship fund has established and it continues to sustain financial support to young people. As TEV thanks to your support from the beginning of the pandemic, TEV has already left a remarkable impact on the lives of dozens of students. The fund created will continue to be used for the students
Kind regards,
Turkish Education Foundation
