Turkish Education Foundation (TEV) is undertaking a new project named GRATITUDE TO CORONA HEROES FUND to support the education of children of healthcare workers in Turkey who have forfeited their lives in the frontlines of this struggle due to COVID-19. Moreover, the scope of the fund will be extended to support more students who faced with negative effects of the pandemic as the Fund's support rises.
Coronavirus pandemic has brought an unpredictable future for all around the World with the current financial and psychological situation. We, as Turkish Education Foundation, are worried about the future education of successful but financially inefficient students especially after the pandemic and would like to show our gratitude for those who had to fight against the global pandemic in Turkey.
This project aims to help young people who had to face the negative sides of the pandemic by providing financial and moral support. Students who will be receiving funds from this project will be preserved under the wings of the Turkish Education Foundation and they will have the chance to benefit from online mentoring programs and trainings in addition to monthly stipends.
TEV aims to create a life-long positive impact on the lives of these students by supporting them with every means possible. Monthly stipends and coaching support they will receive will help these young students to focus on their studies and provide them a hopeful future. In this way, TEV aims to minimize the negative effect of the pandemic on the education sector.
