The pandemic has had many destructive effects so far, and access to education is one of the dimensions that need to be considered by all parties when it comes to thinking about these adverse effects of the pandemic. Especially the students whose families lost their lives during the fight against the virus and those with limited financial means are the most vulnerable groups to suffer from the possible psycho-educational drawbacks of the pandemic.
As Tev, from the very beginning of the pandemic, we've been building a GRATITUDE FUND FOR CORONA HEROES to support these children and young people with scholarships, online training, and mentorship programs. Thanks to your precious support, so far, we've raised $19,958.02, which already left a remarkable impact on the lives of dozens of students who would not otherwise be able to continue their academic lives.
Since the virus will still exist among us in the foreseeable future, the efforts to help more students in 2022-2023 academic year are vital. Therefore, we hope to continue our efforts to help more students, which has been made possible thanks to your kind donations and dedicated efforts in aiding our mission.
Thank you for your continuous interest and support!
Kind regards,
Turkish Education Foundation
