Project Report
At Deaf Welfare Awareness Foundation (DWAF), we are empowering Deaf youth—both girls and boys—with practical digital skills that can lead to sustainable employment and income opportunities. Currently, 80+ Deaf youth are receiving training in areas including e-commerce, graphic design, Shopify, and the use of AI tools.
Our 3–6 month training courses provide more than technical skills. For students who need it, DWAF also provides accommodation and meals, helping Deaf youth from underserved and remote areas access quality training.
Most importantly, DWAF is working beyond the classroom. We are building close relationships with employers and connecting trained Deaf youth with employment and livelihood opportunities, helping them move from learning to earning and greater independence.
Each year, 100+ Deaf individuals benefit from our skills development programs. We aim to expand this number and reach many more Deaf youth across Pakistan. Continued support from our donors will help us provide training, accommodation, meals, equipment, and stronger pathways to employment for more students.
We sincerely thank GlobalGiving and its generous donors for supporting our mission and believing in the potential of Deaf youth. With your continued partnership, we can help many more Deaf young people build skills, find meaningful work, and create a more inclusive digital future.
