Dear Hearts of Gold Community,

Today we are filled with gratitude and hope as we share an important milestone for D’Ellas Bakery.

Thanks to the incredible support of many members of our community, we have finally been able to open a physical location for this social enterprise — a dream that we hope will help feed and support many families for years to come.

This achievement would not have been possible without the kindness and generosity of people who believed in our women and in the power of opportunity.

A compassionate donor couple generously helped cover the rent for our bakery location, giving these women a safe and dignified place to work and grow. Another generous soul made it possible to fully equip the bakery. With the very limited funds we had available, opening our doors would simply not have been possible without this support.

We are also deeply grateful to a wonderful friend who shared delicious recipes for pies, cinnamon rolls, and many other treats that are helping turn D’Ellas Bakery into a sustainable and successful business.

Today, we are working hard every single day to generate enough income to provide salaries for four women who are working with love, dedication, and hope for a better future for their families.

We also want to thank you for your patience, donations, encouragement, and enthusiasm in supporting these brave women.

Without your support, many of these women would still be selling products in the streets, exposing themselves and their children to dangerous and vulnerable situations every day. Today, they are safe, empowered, learning new skills, and building a future with dignity and hope.

This project is about much more than baking. It is about restoring confidence, creating opportunities, and reminding women that they are capable of transforming their lives.
