Last year, we had a cost of approximately R$ 63.5 million (US$ 30.2 million) to keep the hospital. There were approximately 23,000 medical consultations, 49 bone marrow transplants (average cost of US$ 250/patient), 17,000 chemotherapies and 40 research. Our occupancy rate was almost 90%, it made us accelerate the delivery of hospital expansion.
Being a Brazilian hospital, in addition to the research and development of new profiisionais makes treating cases of high complexity. This focus makes our costs are extremely high.
75% of our children are from other hospitals across Latin America and 90% with no health insurance.
We are audited by KPMG. It is a great honor for our institution to have this transparency with Brazil and the world.
