ACON Biochar Cook Stove Project -March 2013 Update

By Salim Mayeki Shaban | President of ACON, Project Leader - Biofuel Proj.

I am please to announce the availability of ACON's March 2013 Update on "Good Practices in Bioenergy Feedstock Production".

Please find the March 2013 attachment on the GlobalGiving Site for Project # 10859.

ACON has now built and distributed (sold) over 5000 stoves.   The women who are using these stoves give personal testimonies concerning how they feel about using these stoves.

ACON also reports on continued training for artisans to build stoves and generate income for their families.

ACON is also providing training on the best methods of stove sales and distribution.

Your involvement in this project is critical as a means to expand the ability for ACON to train new stove builders and sales people.   This generates an ongoing income.   More importantly, stove purchasers experience savings on fuel bills and enjoy reduced exposure to smoke inhalation and health issues that result from this.

Thank you for making all of this possible.

Robert Lavoie, (President of AirTerra Inc.)

Salim Mayeki Shaban  - President of African Christians Organization Network (ACON) and Project Leader for  ACON's Biofuel Initiative.
