Hope and Optimism!

By Henry | Partner in Africa

Greetings from Uganda!  As I write to you, I find our beneficiaries are very optimistic and have high hopes of benefiting from the project because 33 goats have given birth and the kids are still surviving.  The project has raised the hopes and increased commitment of caregivers towards poverty eradication.  It has increased on experience sharing on treatment and adherence practices for those with adherence challenges among care givers who are the beneficiaries, and this has greatly improved general adherence and proper drugs consumption among the members.

Families appreciate the project so much for it has caused a tremendous change in their lives as it has improved their wellbeing in terms of income and nutrition.  Positive changes are being seen every day.  Most importantly, our children are healthier and they are able to attend school on a regular schedule.

The team here at the American Foundation for Children with AIDS thanks you for supporting this project and the work we do for the children in Africa.  As you start to make decisions regarding your end of year giving, please keep us in mind so we can continue our good work into 2019 and beyond.  We wish you a new year full of many blessings and as much hope as you have shared with us.  If you would like to learn even more about what we do or how you can meet some of the children you have helped, please contact Tanya Weaver at tweaver@AFCAids.org.
