We produce schooling materials on colonial history and collect donations for schools and educational projects in Haiti, Namibia and Honduras. Currently, we would like to gradually revise and update our learning platform and take our materials to schools even more successfully. We do this with a small full-time team and a lot of voluntary work. We need your help: we want to pay external expertise fairly and improve our own infrastructure.
We bring the topics of global learning and colonial history to schools in Germany and collect donations for schools and educational projects in Haiti, Namibia and Honduras. In this project, we would like to revise and technically update our educational offers on our learning platform lernen.pen-paper-peace.org in order to keep up with current discourses and include multi-layered perspectives. We do this with a small full-time team and a lot of voluntary work.
We want to pay external expertise fairly, improve our own infrastructure and show appreciation for our volunteers. To do this, we need money, for example, for the revision of the learning modules on Namibia by representatives of the communities affected by German colonial crimes, to hold workshops, but also to equip our small association office and to hold volunteer meetings and small gifts for the volunteers.
PEN PAPER PEACE stands for education. Symbolically speaking, pen and paper improve the lives of people who live in poverty. We are convinced that education creates perspectives, gives courage and is the prerequisite for a self-responsible future. Socially, education creates the conditions for security, political stability and a fair society.
