Dear donor and friend, you certainly know that not all the dogs are the same. And not every behavioral condition is based on genetics, but rather on the circumstances in which they are born or forced to live, which has a formative influence on their personality. Let´s have a look on our shelter dogs!!!
Ollie (almost 11) is blind from birth, he is secure and confident within his well known green zone, but somehow anxious and nervous among certain dogs, so he runs back and forth across the meadow and never gains weight. Such a freak!
Nuqui (almost 12) only knows shelter life, has been with us since she was a puppy. She is such a joyful spirit, and despite her age, she jumps higher than the others. You wouldn´t notice that she now has kidney failure, because she never complains and always shows her happy face.
Finn (5) is not exactly a social butterfly. Due to former harsh life conditions, he sees the other dogs as a threat and would be reactive. He prefers being alone and doesn't trust every human, either. He is cautious, but relaxed within his comfort zone.
Nonna (11), slightly autistic, a couch potato. Some people might think, she´s just lazy or even depressed, because she is introverted and not really interested in having company, and needs her space to feel safe. Her motto: from the bowl to the rest place.
Gafitas (12) is a lover, a very balanced and peaceful old man. He is kind to everyone and prefers hugs over cookies or sausages
Tobo (8) our energy package. Funny, playful, undisciplined, impatient and intense. He loves stealing hair brushes and always wants to be the first to receive treats.
Tuktu (9), intelligent and playful, eager to learn and externally motivated
Lotta (12), the matriarch and self-proclaimed leader of her group, she loves mediating and calling to order during a dispute.
Yanti (10 ½). She was just a puppy of two months, totally frightened. Her sisters were all adopted, however, she stayed with us, still fearful, cautious and shy.
Merlin (10), a real gentleman. Trustworthy, quiet and chubby, always enjoying the sun on his body, always grateful for being loved, emotionally secure.
Egon (10 años 8 meses), a sweet lab mix, competitive with other males. A potentially constant companion, whether on walks or at home, at the fire place.
Sirius Black (3), an earthquake!!! Zero discipline, extrovert, high energy level, everything is fun
Loki (3), a complete goofball, enthusiastic and unstoppable, who loves action and has tons of energy.
Júpiter (9) our giant. Careless and clumsy, not too nerdy, but faithful and without realizing it, he makes an impressive figure
Amarok (5/6), the observer, almost a philosopher. He resembles a steppenwolf, but deep inside, he is longing for a new start, a person to love and being loved unconditionally. And he wants to overcome his trauma of abandonment so badly.
Noam (10) a big senior with an innocent, lovely heart. He was found blind on the street, totally dependent on his canine guide Liam, emotionally as well. A friendship and support every human can learn from.
Liam (3/4), the typical terrier. Meant for play, entertainment and fun, socially motivated with an extreme sense of responsibility for his blind bestie Noam, who wouldn´t have survived on the street without his assistance. A little clown with a big life purpose.
Alma (7/9), the soul of Vivatma, a shining sun. Sweet, always smiling, trusting and curious. Despite her cancer, she is determined to focus only on the bright side of life.
Which one of them all would you like to sponsor?
