Dear Supporters,
After reviewing all of our projects for 2018, this has been one of our slower projects, which is something we look forward to changing this year.
Carbon offsetting is a way to compensate for our emissions by funding carbon dioxide savings elsewhere. Our everyday life at work and at home, consume energy and produce carbon emissions and simple things like driving and preparing food are part of our daily lives. Carbon offsetting is used to balance out these emissions by helping to fund emission savings in your home or in other parts of the world.
In 2018, with one project already on the horizon we hope to transition all of our bases to low carbn operations and as each base is unique, their needs will differ. In addition to these carbon offsetting projects, there are more benefits than just carbon reduction, but things like education, biodiversity and health and well being in these developing communities.
Thank you for continuing to support us in our mission and we hope that 2018 will bring life back into this project!
All the best,
The GVI Trust
