In 2026, Global Care Force continues to build upon a model centered on continuity of care—returning to the same communities, strengthening local relationships, and improving access to healthcare where services are often disrupted. This commitment remains especially critical in our ongoing work throughout Ukraine.
Global Care Force’s volunteer medical teams continue to deliver essential healthcare services in de-occupied and frontline regions of Ukraine. In June, our 40th volunteer medical team will deploy to continue providing compassionate, skilled care to patients living in communities heavily impacted by the ongoing war.
Between March and May 2026, Global Care Force teams contributed more than 3,600 volunteer hours of medical care and distributed over $37,000 in medicines and medical supplies to more than 1,350 patients across 31 villages in southeastern Ukraine. These efforts provided critical access to healthcare in areas where medical services remain severely limited.
Our commitment to continuity of care remains steadfast. As the war enters its fourth year, many individuals and families continue to face significant barriers to healthcare access. Through the dedication of our volunteer medical professionals, Global Care Force is able to reach vulnerable populations who might otherwise go without treatment—delivering not only essential medical care, but also hope, dignity, and human connection to those living on the front lines.
By returning to the same communities over time, our teams help stabilize patient health, strengthen trust, improve follow-up care, and support better long-term health outcomes for vulnerable populations.
Looking ahead, Global Care Force will continue monthly deployments in Ukraine, expand volunteer team capacity, and strengthen follow-up care and referral pathways to ensure patients receive continued support beyond initial treatment.
Our focus remains clear: expanding access to care, strengthening existing healthcare systems, and improving patient outcomes over time.
