Since covid-19 Womans Hope took the intiative of feeding the less fortunate families in the urban slums. Most of the families their income during the pademics. Together with friends and corporates we were able to reach to 1000 families who benefited from the kind donations.
After Covid-19 most old persons and sick had no one to care for them since they had lost their manual jobs. Womans Hope saw the need of continuing with the initiative where we adopted 100 person who are our Adopt a family initiative. Every end month we donate care pack that includes 4 rice, 4 beans, 4 kilos of Unga, sugar and tea leaves.
Our Initiative runs in the urban slums in Nairobi and it environs. We are glad we have been able to save lives of most sick people who were almost giving up especially the ones who are on ARVs.
