Giving Tuesday, December 2, 2025 - Upcountry Strong, a Maui-based nonprofit that grew from neighborhood food drives during the pandemic and became the only HUB after the devastating Maui Fires in Upcountry, into a vital community resource. Our brick-and-mortar pantry opened in August 2024. We have since served over 7894 Families, equal to 26,839 individuals
After the Maui wildfires in 2023 rents increased, many jobs were lost , on the Island, and our food prices are higher than anywhere in the USA
We want to continue to help our Community to have food on their table a recent study shows that 3 out of 4 families in Maui suffer food insecurity
we work with many diffrent organizations to grow food on maui and educate our Community on food growing
