Hi! We are glad to share news with you!
We are developing a new edition of our project!
This edition is held at "Amparo". The Amparo City Bell Center is a non-profit Civil Association working on issues of violence in the context of family and school. In a collective doing with different looks and professional practices, provides assistance and instances of training in the problem.
Its purpose is to provide a space for containment, assistance and training in the problem of violence in the context of family and school to those who approach the institution and / or require our professional actions.
The team is made up of a social worker who leads the project and her work is ad honorem. In total, the group is made up of 15 people who attend the site twice a week.
Regarding the contents of the workshops, our main goal is to intervene in the subjectivity of the women that will take part, through a deep understanding of their family context, personal history, work previous experience (formal and informal), self-perception, personal skills and attitudes, expectations and fears related to the beginning of a new life project, willingness to work in team, adoption of proactive attitudes, task responsibility, planning, division of labor, leadership, work-oriented results, commitment, etc.
This is a project that seeks to promote the personal development of women in situations of psychosocial vulnerability. It aims to build vital / occupational projects through strengthening the autonomy based on a methodological strategy: Occupational Training Project.
In conjunction with Amparo we have provided an informative talk for the interested women who approached through a call that was made through the social networks and in the same Amparo Center.
The workshops cycles started in June.
In the next report we will tell you more about the development of the different meetings.
