Celebrate a decade of empowering women & girls

Dear Friends,

Today, we celebrate ten years of empowerment for women & girls at The Mabinti Centre, our socioeconomic empowerment program for women and girls recovering from obstetric fistula

Your support has helped us reach this incredible milestone. Thank you!

Ten years, over 100 lives transformed

On November 1, 2007, the Mabinti Centre opened its doors to its first class of trainees: 18 women and girls seeking the opportunity to rebuild their lives after the trauma of obstetric fistula. Since then, Mabinti has empowered over 100 women and girls with the skills to become independent entrepreneurs or to find productive employment.

Join the celebration!

Did you know that $10 provides one month of training for one woman? In honor of Mabinti’s 10 years of changing lives, send them a $10 anniversary gift today. By joining the celebration, you will help a woman recovering from obstetric fistula build a foundation for a brighter future.

For women like Hadidja, her months of training have been life changing.

“Now that I have had surgery, and I have trained at the Mabinti Centre, I have my own business. I make clothes and bags, and do embroidery and sewing. The money I earn helps me to pay for my children’s school fees. I never need to worry about losing my job again, because I am my own boss.”

We hope you will join us in celebrating a truly remarkable decade of impact.

Thank you,
The Kupona Team
