During the period under review, the Give Water Save Life Project was able to conduct the following activities and recorded progress.

Activities and Progress

Assessment and Planning: Conducted a thorough assessment of the water needs in various communities within Gusau. Identified the most vulnerable areas where access to clean water was critically low.
Community Engagement: Held meetings with local leaders and community members to understand their specific needs and to foster community involvement in the project.
Training and Capacity Building: Trained community members on the maintenance of the water systems and the importance of water hygiene and sanitation practices.

Impact and Outcomes

Health Improvements: Initial reports indicate a significant reduction in waterborne diseases among the communities benefiting from the project.
Community Empowerment: The training programs have empowered local communities to manage and maintain their water resources, ensuring sustainability.
