PROGRESS REPORT ON GIVE THE GIFT OF EDUCATION

By Wirkom Fred Mbiydzenyuy | Project leader

Dear All,

Here again is a progress report on Give a Gift of Education to an orphaned child.   Finally the Academic year  has come to an end.    We were able to  teach a total of  82 students in the school  this year.

The  donations to this project  really help in many dimensions. A few  real desparate ones were given some basic school needs, Uniforms etc.

To those of you who might have sopported some years ago, the picture attached shows the graduates who have completed their course in Soft ware,  computerised accounting and  Computer hard ware.

Sandrine in the picture was able to present an accounting problem using the Fifo method during the open door day which brought together community members and teachers and students from other instituions to come and witness what SeReP does. Computer practicals, accounting presentations, Music, Hard ware, arts and craft work.

I am glad  to report that  there are still many orphaned knocking our doors for admission next year.  Like the case attached  Melvis is  12 years old.  She lost her father when she was 3 and the mother is infected and all the little resources ares are being directed towards imrproving the mother's health. There are many and we are looking forwards to increasing the intake since there is enough space.

I very much externd my sincere thanks to thos  who have been supporting this project of sponsoring children.

Help us increase the numbers of orphans that really needs help.
