Dear all,
Anglophone crises have continued to hit our region in such a way that we as a charity are bound to create different methods of helping the young ones in giving them education. It is really a sad situation that within the last three years children have not been to school and the situation is instead deteriorating.
Children are not safe going to school with gunshots every now and then. Because of their safety, we are using the home training method by organizing children in quarters and groups depending on our resources to give these children a gift of Education with the help of your support. We are currently focusing on those between the ages of 6 - 10. We make schedule three days a week in quarters that we are able to reach out.
If we have more resources, we would have expanded the programme by recruiting more young people to keep on with the programe using traditional rullers' compounds. The truth is that there have been several ghost towns and this makes it difficult for resouce persons to move from one village to another. It is rather better that we are looking at a way of recruiting a larger number of resouce person based in villages where this programme is instituted.
We are also looking forward to starting a Tailoring and Electronic formation programme for boys and girls of ages bewteen 12 - 16. With this, we intend to buy 15 sewing machines, make tables and some practical materials. This is also another way forward which we can continue to give a gift of education to these needy children.
Another sad thing is that we have continued recording more orphans as an out come of the current war in the Anglonphone regions of the country. People are being killed here and there and most of them are men living behind wifes and children.
Please this is actually one of the most critical time to promote this project in any way possible. Thousands of people are now in Nigeria as refugees and thousands have been internally displaced. We are concerned with those that are hiding out in the bushes and in far off villages where soldeirs can not reach.
May God bless you and you also pray for us within this Cameroon Anglophone crisis. If you want to know more about the crises, please contant us.
At this time you can not see any child through out the Ambazoia land wearing school uniform.
