Not so long ago, we opened our new maternity award at Agonga facility to the public. The number of expectant mothers delivering from the new maternity ward has increased tremendously unlike in the past where most of them were delivering from the traditional birth attendants, which posed a huge risk on their health and that of the baby.
As we strive to strengthen our Maternal and child health care at our health facilities in Unyama and Agonga, we should be reminded how an ultrasound machine is very vital in reducing maternal and neonatal mortality in our community.
Thank you for partnering with us in saving the lives of mothers and their new born babies. Our drive to procure an ultrasound imaging machine for our health facilities is ongoing and if you can, please send in a donation.
