To our esteemed supporters and partners, we would like to take this opportunity to welcome you into the new year 2022. We at Karin Community Initiatives Uganda extend our sincere thanks to you for your great generosity and sacrifice you have shown in supporting our various projects which directly helps the underprivileged mothers in Northern Uganda. Your support helps to further our mission through the Make motherhood safe with Ultrasound imaging campaign.
On 29th October 2021, we received our first mother at our newly opened maternity ward at Agonga health facility in Gulu District - Northern Uganda. In the months to follow, the facility has managed to register more than 70 mothers who come for consultation, antenatal, obstetric scans, deliveries and other essential procedures. Among these are mothers who can barely afford treatment costs and at KCIU we don’t turn away anybody.
We are so delighted to have played a big role in helping to ensure that these mothers have safe deliveries and its for reasons like these that we keep appealing to you for support towards acquiring an Ultrasound machine. With an Ultrasound machine at our health facility, we believe we can impact more women and reduce maternal deaths. We are appealing to you for support & prayers to our cause and if you can, please make a donation!
