Warm greetings from Kawama in Ndola, Zambia, and heartfelt thanks for your kindness to Miracle. Because of your generous support, Miracle, a 10-year-old girl in Grade 5, has been able to stay in school this term with her fees, uniform, and basic learning materials covered. She now walks to Lotus Flower Community School with pride in her uniform, books in hand, knowing that there are people across the world who believe in her future.

Since our last update, Miracle’s teachers have seen a big change in her confidence and participation. She has passed her recent end-of-term assessments, with clear improvement in reading and mathematics, and she has even joined the school reading club. Where she once sat quietly at the back of the class, Miracle now raises her hand to read aloud and help her classmates with difficult words. At home, her family shares that she talks excitedly about “when I finish school” — a powerful shift from the days when continuing her education felt impossible.

Thanks to you, Miracle is not just attending school; she is beginning to thrive. In the coming months, we plan to continue supporting her with extra after-school help for reading and homework, and, as resources allow, simple essentials like school shoes and a school bag so she can learn with even more dignity and comfort. Thanks to your heartfelt contributions, Miracle has taken a bold step forward on her educational journey. After years of uncertainty, she is now comfortably settled into her second term at school, with all her essential needs met—school fees, a new uniform, shoes, textbooks, and hygiene supplies. Your kindness has given her not just the tools to learn, but also the confidence to dream.

Miracle’s story is one of quiet resilience. Raised by her grandmother in a remote village, she spent many days watching other children walk to school while she stayed behind, doing chores and carrying responsibilities far beyond her age. When she finally walked into her classroom for the first time earlier this year, she held back tears—not of fear, but of joy. Her favorite subject is science, and she now wants to become a nurse so she can "help children who are too weak to go to school."

Beyond Miracle, your support has made it possible to begin outreach to three other girls in similar situations, giving them hope that they too will one day enter a classroom with books in hand and a future in sight.
