In Dar es Salaam, many children live in extreme poverty without reliable access to food, education, or safe care. Some are forced onto the streets due to family hardship or loss of parents, exposing them to hunger, poor health, violence, and exploitation. This affects street children, orphans, and children from low-income families who are at high risk of missing school and remaining trapped in poverty without support.
This project will support vulnerable children in Dar es Salaam by providing daily meals, basic education, and a safe daycare environment. Street children, orphans, and children from low-income families will be protected from the risks of street life while accessing learning and recreational activities that support their growth and well-being.
This project will help approximately 50-70 vulnerable children gain access to education, improved health, and a safe environment, reducing their risk of living on the streets. Over time, they will develop skills, stay in school, and have better opportunities for employment and independence, helping break the cycle of poverty in their families and community.
