Give Hope to a Deaf-Blind Father and His Son

This project is not about charity—it is about restoring dignity, stability, and hope through empowerment.

When we first met the deaf-blind father and his young son, their struggle was not only financial, but social and emotional. Limited access to communication, employment, and services had pushed them to the margins of society. Through GlobalGiving family support, we were able to intervene with a rights-based and empowerment-driven approach.

Instead of one-time relief, we focused on strengthening their independence. The father is receiving structured support to improve daily mobility, communication access, and livelihood readiness, while his son is being supported to continue education in a safe and inclusive environment. This approach ensures that assistance leads to long-term resilience, not dependency.
