In Goma and Bukavu, many children affected by poverty, displacement, and insecurity have limited access to safe sports activities and educational support. Our project, Give Football Hope to Children in DR Congo, aims to create opportunities for vulnerable children to learn, play, develop their talents, and build a brighter future through football.
We are currently preparing for the launch by identifying qualified trainers and children who could benefit from the program. Football training, educational support, mentorship, sports equipment, youth tournaments, and referee training are planned. Activities have not yet started, as we continue working to mobilize the resources needed to make this initiative a reality.
Our total fundraising goal is $350,000, and we have not yet received any donations for this project. We are thankful to GlobalGiving for helping us connect with a wider community of potential supporters. With your support, we hope to create a safe and encouraging environment where children can build confidence, develop life skills, and stay connected to education.
Will you help us give these children a chance to thrive? Every contribution brings us closer to making this vision possible. We invite individuals, foundations, businesses, and football supporters around the world to join us in investing in the potential of children in eastern DR Congo. Thank you to GlobalGiving and to every donor who chooses to stand with these children as we work toward a more hopeful future.
