Give Food & Hope to Poor Schoolchildren in Zambia

Project Report | May 27, 2026
Impact Report

By Genesis Mwamba | Executive Director

During Term 1, the Tummy2Class initiative successfully provided nutritious meals to 100 children throughout the school term. The program contributed to noticeable improvements in school attendance, participation, and enrollment, as more children were motivated to attend classes consistently knowing they would have access to a healthy meal each day.

The initiative also helped support the overall wellbeing and concentration levels of learners, creating a more conducive learning environment for vulnerable children.

Despite the positive impact recorded, the program continues to face financial challenges, particularly in securing adequate resources to expand the number of beneficiaries. Increased funding and partnerships remain critical to sustaining and scaling the initiative to reach more children in need.
