Sponsor education and paralegal services for disadvantaged members of the community of the Valley of 1000 Hills in rural South Africa to enable them to break the poverty cycle and become social and economic contributors to their society.
Unemployment of over 70%, low average life expectancy and under-resourced crumbling schools has resulted in child poverty, hunger and hopelessness.
The project will provide: 1. Access to education through provision of uniforms, transport money, fees, subject and career advice 2. Access to government benefits through paralegal advocacy
Educated children become educated adults. Over 95% of our tertiary students complete their qualification and enter into a meaningful career, thus contributing economically to society and providing inspiration as role models.
