With your donation we’ll be able to reach 220 children in the Balbino Arizu Elementary School in San Rafael, Mendoza in Argentina; where 52% of the children between 15 and 17 years cannot understand properly a simple text. The school is located in the countryside and needs books to enhance literacy development on children.
The program looks to increase the amount of books read by the children and to enhance their reading situations. To do so, we will send 150 new children's literature books so teachers will have quality material that invites the children to read. In addition, we'll send 64 books for independent reading developed by Fundacion Leer in order to promote the continuity of independent reading situations
