Thousands of vulnerable children in Mali live on the streets and beg for food. Education and healthcare are luxuries that they do not even dream of. Mali is one of the poorest countries in the world, and many children have been orphaned by AIDS or war, and stigmatized by society. They are exposed to hunger, drugs, and sex trafficking. We are ready to take in 10 vulnerable toddlers as soon as we raise $13,000 to cover their first year of care. Help these children gain a home before the holidays!
ACFA provides vulnerable children with a safe and loving home, education, healthcare, sports activities, and more. In 2010, we welcomed 12 vulnerable children at our Bamako Children's Home. They arrived malnourished, uneducated, scared and even traumatized. All 12 children are now thriving as well-rounded teenagers. We have witnessed 7-year-olds unable to read or write transform into 16-year-olds at the top of their class. They excel in sports and dream of what to major in at university.
Transforming the future of just one vulnerable child is a goal worth fighting for. We have seen 12 precious lives transformed under ACFA's care, and we are determined to reach more. With your help, we can bring 10 vulnerable children off of the streets and give them a permanent, nurturing home at the Zorokoro Children's Complex, where they will also attend preschool in the new classrooms. The entire trajectory of their lives will be changed, thanks to you!
