It's no coincidence that some of the most successful people in the world are readers. Watching documentaries, listening to audiobooks can all be great things, but ultimately cannot replace the learning and imagination triggering that takes place with traditional reading.
Much of this is being lost in a world that is becoming increasingly digital. Help us to get a book in the hands of a deserving child in Pakistan who may never have such an important the way the system is currently working.
"I need to see the words on the page, and then reflect on them," said Majid, CEO of a big multinational. "When I listen to a speech or an audiobook, I don't have that time or space to reflect in the same way."
Working backgrounds, this reflection is what we want to ensure these children get a chance for.
