WE WISH ALL OUR FRIENDS AND PARTNERS AROUND THE WORLD A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!
2019 was a great year for us, our children are healthy and on their way to securing a better future for themselves and their families through education. In November, 31 students graduated from Grade 9. They prepared a dinner for their parents to say thank you for the years of support they have received. It was a beautiful night where the parents felt acknowledged for their sacrifices that they had made to keep their children in school.
Our clinic continues to service each child in the school as well as offering services to those family members in the community who need assistance. The doctor had 2,734 appointments with the children in 2019. In cooperation with the kitchen staff, the nutrition program is working. We have no children that are suffering from malnutrition.
We are only able to provide these services to our children in Guatemala because of the international support we receive. We are truly grateful and we promise that in 2020 we will continue to work hard every day to ensure each student reaches their potential. Muchas Gracias!
