Thank you for your generous support of RISE and our project to give 100 kids in Angola the chance to go to school. We are over 2/3 of the way to our goal – 70 kids will have the opportunity for education. Let’s give 30 more the same chance.
This year marked 15 years of building schools – 170 schools with over 120,000 students in school annually! The impact in the lives of those children, their families, and communities is ongoing and significant… yet over 2 million kids in Angola still lack access to education.
Gifts given to RISE are multiplied further through our co-funding partnership with Educate A Child. Seven schools are under construction, with several soon to be completed and dedicated. The school year will begin in February and kids, like those at Kateke, will be seated at new desks, in new classrooms, with teachers ready to teach – all excited about their “grande” new school.
Thank you again for joining us, and we hope we can count on your continued support as we continue to bring access to education to the many children who are without the opportunity. We are truly grateful for your investment, for giving kids their basic right to education, and responding to their hopes and dreams.
