Recently we gathered our senior project staff together in Jinja Uganda for our annual project progress review. We also took the oportunity to make a field visit to the nearby District of Mayuge. One of the villages was on the lake shore at the end of the dirt and was as remote as possible. This is a subsistence level fishing village and the kids in the picture were dirt poor and several were malnourished. I am so proud of our team from Jinja that they make the effort to reach remote communities like this with our programme. They are giving hope of better access to health services for the young people and bringing information about reproductive health for the young girls.
We are currently planning delivery of the project In Kasese Distirct, western Uganda and we will be reporting on the progress in our next report. Our Kasese team are currently training hard before they commence to enage with the young people in their local communties.
Thank you so much for your support it makes a significant difference.
