An African proverb says, "If we educate a boy, we educate one person. If we educate a girl, we educate a family - and a whole nation." Thanks to education of girls, the community as a whole can benefit from a strengthened socio-economic position of its female population and from local development. The project intention is to give a chance to girls who are living far away from the school to have a safe place to stay.
Since January, thanks to you and FOH private donors, we have started the construction of the girls residence.
Thanks to your donations, 53 girls are enrolled and followed.
But as you know, education is something continuous in time. This is why we still need you, need your generosity.
The school also offers an opportunity of education to disadvantaged children (coming from poor families) and also to children coming from wealthy families. Poor children can be subsidized in the payment of school fees, offering them an affordable percentage of payment. Those from wealthy families can be asked to pay full charge.
We can not thank you enough for everything you do for these girls.
