Dear friends of SCOEN,
We are pleased to write you with good news follow the previous report and the support you have provided, the Girls parliament is to be replicated to Bukedea and we are launching the activities this month by 15th of Feb, 2025 with your generosity.
We shall directly work with 120 girls through its Girls’ Parliament project. We also expects to reach 3,000 parents through its community outreach sessions, which will be held in 15 schools across the Bukedea district of Eastern Uganda. Through this project, we hope to showcase the power of girls and combat social norms and attitudes which seek to diminish girls’ agency and capabilities.
Thank you for being part of this journey and supporting the adolescent girls and young women through SCOEN, with our your support this milestone would be a dead end.
