Our Girls Parliament to end child marriage in Uganda participants have taken a brave step further and are fighting very actively among their communities to help other girls. But they can´t keep doing this alone, they need your support
SCOEN will be launching the girls parliament activities in the sub county of Kolir Bukedea district by next month.
We shall focus on directly engaging 120 girls through its Girls’ Parliament project. The organization also expects to reach 3,000 parents through its community outreach sessions, which will be held in 5 schools across the Kolir Sub county, Bukedea district of Eastern Uganda. Through this project, SCOEN hopes to showcase the power of girls and combat social norms and attitudes which seek to diminish girls’ agency and capabilities.
Thank you for being part of this journey and supporting the adolescent girls and young women through SCOEN.
Warm regards,
SCOEN TEAM
