Dear More Than Me Family,
Thank you for standing by our girls and the community of West Point during these trying times. We are excited to announce that the More Than Me Academy is finally reopening! The opening date has been pushed back a month to ensure safety, but we are now scheduled to reopen on March 2nd. The Academy has been transformed back into a school from being the Ebola-Free Coalition’s home base and warehouse. Our Ebola program headquarters have been moved to our guest house, and the Academy has been cleaned, the blackboards washed, new students recruited (most of whom were orphaned or abandoned by Ebola), PTA meetings held, and teachers trained. In short, we’re READY to open!
Our staff on the ground is truly amazing. They fought Ebola on the front lines, while always keeping the vision for our girls at the center of what they do. Check out the amazing accomplishments of our team in the infographic below.
Thank you for believing in More Than Me!
For a better and brighter Liberia,
Emily
