Dear Supporters,
Thanks to your unwavering support, our mission to keep vulnerable girls in school—and out of early marriages—continues to make life-changing progress. In the past three months, we’ve supported 47 girls with school supplies, menstrual hygiene kits, counseling sessions, and tuition assistance, ensuring they stay in class and out of harm’s way.
Among these girls is Martha, a bright 13-year-old who was at risk of being married off after her father lost his job. Through the intervention of our local partner educators and your kind donations, Martha was not only enrolled back in school but is now thriving. She recently ranked in the top 10 of her grade and has dreams of becoming a lawyer—“to speak for girls like me,” she said during a community event.
In addition to individual support, we’ve expanded our community engagement sessions to include parents, traditional leaders, and boys—shifting attitudes about the value of girls’ education and challenging the norms that fuel early marriages. These conversations are critical, and we’ve already seen a decrease in dropout rates among the girls we mentor.
As we look ahead, your continued support will help us provide school supplies for Term 3 and expand our safe spaces to reach even more girls. For every school bag packed, every uniform stitched, and every classroom door opened—you are helping rewrite a girl’s future.
With heartfelt gratitude,
The Girls’ Education Advocacy Team
