About 119 girls enrolled in village level Govt. Primary Schools

The girl effect project working to promote education in rural families, during the present quarter Jan to March 2015 some 119 girls enrolled in nearby Govt. Primary schools and girls now going to the nearby Govt. primary schools. The Govt. schools in rural areas are helpful and promoting education in rural areas. AHD formed village women groups in rural villages and women asked to send their young girls in nearby primary schools. The situation of the said village were not good regarding the girls / women education, majority of young girls working at household level & picking sticks / wood for cooking purposes as well as colleting water for drinking purposes from the outside the village. The snaps shows some 3 girls picked wood for fire/cooking for the family.

Female education needs attentions and efforts in rural areas to increase the women participation, empowerment and education towards women development
