Anuja’s Story

My name is Anuja, and I am an 8th-grade student at Shri Janubai School, Virli. My parents are sugarcane cutters, and my school is four kilometers from home. Every day, I either walk or take a shared vehicle, often losing one to two hours of valuable study time. The transportation cost of 400 to 500 per month was also a financial strain on my family.

I have always been passionate about learning and dream of becoming a police officer, but reaching school late was making it difficult to keep up with my studies. When I received a bicycle from the Mann Deshi Foundation, everything changed. Now, I reach school on time every day, understand my lessons better, and even participate in school activities. The financial burden on my family has also reduced.

This bicycle has not only saved me time but has also brought me one step closer to achieving my dream. I can now focus more on my education, and I am deeply grateful to Mann Deshi Foundation for this life-changing support.

Shivani’s Story

I am Shivani, a 7th-grade student from a farming family of six. The long distance to school meant that I was late almost every day, which affected my studies. I knew that having a bicycle would solve this problem, but my family couldn’t afford one.

When Mann Deshi Foundation provided me with a bicycle, it changed my life. Now, I reach school on time, have more time to study, and my academic performance has improved.

My dream is to become a police officer and serve my community. I know this requires hard work and dedication, and with this bicycle, I feel more confident about achieving my goals. Durga’s Story

I am Durga, a 7th-grade student at Mohi. My mother is a farm laborer, and my father works in construction. With my school five kilometers away, I had no choice but to walk every day. This made me late for school, affecting my studies and exam scores.

My dream is to become a lawyer, but walking such long distances left me exhausted, making it hard to focus. Receiving a bicycle from Mann Deshi Foundation has transformed my daily life. Now, I reach school on time, feel less tired, and concentrate better on my studies.
