Each year, as part of our girls’ health program, we prioritize schoolbased vaccination clinics to protect girls from cervical cancer, tetanus, and diphtheria—critical vaccines that are often difficult to access in rural communities. By bringing services directly to schools, we remove barriers that keep girls from receiving lifesaving care, and the results continue to be powerful.
In Term 1 alone, 441 girls received the HPV vaccine and 462 received TD, reaching a total of 903 girls across Kasiisi Project–affiliated schools. More clinics are scheduled throughout the year to ensure every eligible girl is protected.
These vaccinations are a cornerstone of our commitment to keeping girls healthy and in school. Alongside our Reusable Menstrual Pad program, they help prevent the health challenges that too often lead to absenteeism, early marriage, and early pregnancy. Without these interventions, many girls would miss school during illness or menstruation, putting their education—and their futures—at risk.
By investing in girls’ health, we are investing in girls’ education, safety, and longterm opportunity. Your support makes these clinics possible, and every vaccinated girl represents a stronger, healthier future for her family and community
