Project Report | Nov 24, 2025
August - November 2025 Update

By Muhammad Fida Hussain | Voluntary Director

Dear supporters,

Over the past three months, our project has expanded its impact beyond the school level and has now begun working actively at the secondary education level along with the school level activities which allows us to support adolescent girls who often face heightened risks of dropping out due to financial constraints, social expectations, and limited access to quality post-secondary options.

Below is a summary of key progress and activities carried out from August to November 2025.
1. Expansion to Secondary Education
This quarter marks a significant milestone as we extended our support to older girls pursuing intermediate and associate degree programs. In collaboration with Yasmin Bibi Girls College we focus on increasing enrollment, strengthening student engagement, and raising awareness about health, well-being, and personal development.

2. Monthly Highlights from Yasmin Bibi Girls College
August 2025 – Successful First-Year Admissions

  • Admissions for First Year (FA/FSc) programs were completed smoothly.
  • 34 female students applied and secured admission in both the Science and Arts disciplines.
  • Many of these students are first-generation learners, and your support helps them continue their education in a safe and motivating environment.

September 2025 – Enrollment in AD Programs

  • Admissions opened for Associate Degree (AD) English and AD Political Science.
  • 23 students showed strong interest and enrolled in these two-year degree tracks.
  • These programs offer new academic pathways for girls who aspire to build careers in social sciences, education, administration, and language studies.

October 2025 – Mental Health Awareness Session – 23 October 2025

  • Conducted by Mr. Zeshan, focusing on managing stress, understanding emotions, and improving overall mental resilience.
  • Students actively participated and appreciated the safe space for open conversation on mental health—an often-neglected topic for young women in rural communities.

Pink Day – 30 October 2025

  • A Breast Cancer Awareness event was held, addressed by Dr. Himasa.
  • Students learned about early detection, symptoms, and preventive healthcare practices.
  • This activity empowered girls with knowledge that can impact not only their well-being but also their families and communities.

November 2025 – Dengue Awareness Session – 14 November 2025

  • Delivered by Health Supervisor Ulfat, this session educated students about dengue fever symptoms, prevention, and environmental safety measures.
  • Students were encouraged to play an active role in promoting cleanliness in their neighborhoods.

3. School-Level Impact: Bringing Out-of-School Girls Back to Learning

Our work at the school level continues with strong commitment.
This quarter, Hifsa, a young girl previously out of school, was successfully enrolled with the help
of your donations.

  • Her father, a daily-wage laborer, did not initially want to continue her education due to financial limitations.
  • With community engagement and project support, he agreed to send her to school.
  • Today, Hifsa is attending classes regularly and progressing well—an inspiring example of how your support protects a child’s right to education.

The past few months reflect significant growth in both breadth and depth of our educational
interventions.

  • More girls are entering secondary education,
  • Students are gaining knowledge on health and personal well-being,
  • And children like Hifsa are receiving the opportunity they deserve to continue learning.

Funding Status
Despite not receiving any external funding for this project during the past several quarters, we have remained fully committed to sustaining our educational efforts through self-help and local resource mobilization. Our team, community members, and partner institutions have worked together to ensure that essential activities continue without interruption. While the absence of recent donations has presented challenges, it has also strengthened our resolve and highlighted the resilience of our staff and students. We continue to move forward with optimism, hoping for renewed donor support to expand the impact of our work.

We are very thankful to the Dosti Welfare Organization in Pakistan, GEC in the US and all the
well-wishers, donors and supporters for their support.

Your continued support is helping transform the futures of girls in Mardan (KP, Pakistan)

Regards,
