Dear Friend,

Thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing basic essentials to poor families. Blankets, mosquito nets and solar lamps are the most requested and needed by our beneficiaries and we continue to provide this. Aside from these necessities we are also providing vegetable seeds so that they are able to start their own home-gardening activities. Vegetable gardening is one of the most effective means to improve their food security and this is given importance now that the onset of the El Nino is being announced. This reporting period we focus our support to the needs of children and we were able to provide 95 children with gifts. Hoping for your continuing support to our initiative.

Very sincerely yours,

Michelle Frances Uy

Seeds as additional gift
Seeds as additional gift

Dear Friend,

Thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing gifts to poor families. This reporting period we expanded our gift giving by providing vegetable seeds and organic fertilizer. The organic fertilizer we produced ourselves from local organic materials such as coconut husk, cow manure, chicken manure and rotted grasses mixed together. Thanks to the local agriculture department who provided us with a heavy-duty shredder that can pulverize organic materials ready for composting. The vegetable seeds of choice are short maturing crops that farmers can harvest in a short time for their consumption and for the excess to be sold as income. We were able to provide 120 farmers with different varities of vegetable seeds during this reporting period. Hoping for your continuing support.

Very sincerely yours,

Michelle Frances Uy

Solar lamp is great
Solar lamp is great

Dear Friend,

Thank you very much for your support to our project providing poor families with blankets, mosquito nets, solar lamps and other home essentials. Solar lamps for families living off-the-grid is very important because without a lamp, when the sun goes down, life is a stand still in the numerous homes. There is very little that the family members can do. This is supposed to be the time where children can study and adults go about their chores before the sleep. Thus this reporting period, we were able to secure solar lamps and provide them to 120 families. Our mode is for the families to pay for the lamps on simple easy monthly installment so that the proceeds we can use in order to purchase some more and distribute them to our beneficiaries. Hoping that you will continue assisting us. Thank you very much.

Very sincerely yours,

Michelle Frances

farm inputs as gifts
farm inputs as gifts

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your continuing support to our initiative providing gifts to poor farmers and their families. The threat of hunger and famine is ever present with climate change and severe changes in climatic condition and the need to provide relief to farmers is crucial, aside from their need for long-term support and recovery. This reporting period instead of providing them blankets, mosquito nets and lamps, we provided them with farming inputs instead which is very much needed in their farms. The farming inputs comprise seeds, small tools and equipment. We intend to provide them in the next months with fruit and timber tree seedlings which they request. Hoping for your continuing support to this initiative. Thank you very much.

Very sincerely yours,

Michelle Frances Uy

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project gift of blankets, solar lamps and mosquito nets. We are going beyond the usual items mentioned and we have provided support that will enable the recipient to also improve their income and means of living. For example this reporting period we are able to provide for livelihood equipment needed by our beneficiaries such as food blender, among others. Thanks so much too for local supporters who generously supported us in this initiative. This is aside from the blankets and mosquito nets that we are able to provide to 35 families. We for the meantime discontinued the provision of solar lamps because our supply easily get damaged and we are looking for other suppliers with more durable lamps. Hoping for your continuing support. Thank you so much.

Very sincerely yours,

Michelle Frances
