This project seeks to provide digital devices - a mobile phone and a laptop to 40 orphan and destitute students who are pursuing Undergrad Degree in various Colleges. These students require Mobiles and Laptops for their assignments and coursework. Because they are either orphaned or destitute, they need your support to procure digital devices.
Sphoorti supports 250 orphan and destitute children. Out of these, 40 are attending College. They are having a tough time working on their assignments in College because they do not have a laptop. In this age, a laptop or a computer is more a necessity than a luxury. Lack of mobile phones and laptops is posing a severe hindrance in their studies. Since the children are very poor orphaned, they have no financial means to buy a laptop.
An opportunity to use a laptop is crucial for academic progress of students in College. In professional courses, course content and assignments are delivered online. Having a laptop can make a lot of difference. In these times, most of the College related information is being shared online, a laptop will be indispensable, especially when they are pursuing Bachelor's Program. Providing access to digital world improves students' learning capacity and will be a worthy investment in their future.
