Education is the continuous process throughout the life, life generally teaches the lessons which helps to grow up. In Jhagadia block the tribal children faces much difficulties towards education. The life teaches the lessons to these people, but the education system creates difficulty to get the primary education. Gram Vikas Trust (GVT), is trying to bridge the gaps between the community and school. To make a smooth path for the children for their bright future. To learn, to educate themselves and to stand up in the competitive world.
“An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.”
- Benjamin Franklin
GVT has good rapport with the government stakeholders and other government officials, which help us to identify the needy beneficiaries. This academic year we have received 324 names of children who needs support, the support like school bags, note books, bicycles, school uniform and other school materials. The school teachers from different schools have provided the list of the children who required the list of the things.
GVT has provided few materials to the children from these 324 children, but there are other children who have not been supported by us, as there is lack of fund and other materials, but at the second hand we are trying to get the fund from the local resources, we are trying to regularize children in school, we are trying to motivate parents to send their children in school regularly, we are motivating teachers to teach and make a good teaching-learning environment in school, we are trying to identify and motivate the local stakeholders to own the school and community and to provide support to the education system.
There are number of challenges community, school are facing to educate the child, we believe that few support related to economic and few support in strengthening the system will make changes, which will help the child to grow up and make his/her life brighter.
